Many apologetic answers depend on logic. How do you make the argument that a logical argument – one that follows the rules of logic – is dependable for discovering truth?

One could draw an analogy between logic and the scientific method. Just as the scientific method is dependable for discovering natural truth, so logic is dependable for assisting in the discovery of supernatural truth. Of course, some supernatural truths – such as the existence of God’s triune nature – are dependent upon divine revelation, but even then logic can assist in demonstrating that divinely revealed truths do not contradict reason.
