Hi,
I am in a RCIA class and i am getting conflicting information. I am divorced from a Non-practicing Catholic. During our marriage, we were Episcopalian. He was married once before to another Catholic and the marriage was never annulled. I was baptized a Methodist, later became an Episcopal, and am currently trying to become Catholic. One priest told me that the marriage was invalid in the church and I didn’t need the lack of canon form. Then, a local parish will not let me continue in RCIA without having it done. I am very coinfused. Can you tell me who is right here? Do I really need a lack of since I was never Catholic ?
