How does one argue for the reliability of scripture?

My parents are Protestant and I am in RCIA. They are very liberal and believe that the Bible was is full of errors and that because it was written by men, it cannot be trusted. Historically, Protestants have eschewed Apostolic Tradition in favor of Sola scriptura. Now it seems that many of the more “liberal” Protestants want to eschew the scriptura as well. How can I argue the reliability of scripture effectively from a Catholic point of view?
