How does one confess "anonymously"?

I saw a thread below where someone asked if it was OK not to go to confession if one was too shy.

An answer was provided that said “being shy” should not be an issue because one could confess anonymously.

Exactly how would one go about confessing anonymously?
 
Dear Big,

One confesses anonymously when one kneels behind the screen and does not confess face to face with the priest. All Catholic Churches are required to give people the option of either going face to face or anonymously. I
