Dear CAF… another thread peaked my interest in this. My mother will be 87 years old, this May. I sure would like to get a Papal blessing for her… as she is truly a blessing in my life.

Can we request Papal blessings for individuals? And if so… how? Thanks… and God bless.

The other thread about this said that you go through your Archdiocese, so I would contact them first. 🙂

I actually have no idea, but I just glanced at the title to your thread, and saw ‘Paypal Blessing’ and was like ‘huh?!’ :rotfl:

Too funny!! I saw the same “Paypal Blessing” when I glanced at the title of this thread…I was wondering just what kind of blessing that was :rotfl:

PAYPAL blessing? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You guys are so funny! That was my laugh of the evening.

You don’t have to go through the diocese, just go to your parish. We process papal blessings all the time. It takes about 6 weeks

Go through your parish, they put in the request through the Archdiocese and they in turn request it from Rome

Hmm, I’ve never heard of this before. Is it the paper that is blessed in honor of the occasion or the occasion that is blessed with the paper as a physical reminder? When the above link mentions that the blessing is obviously invisible, it sounds as if the paper contains the blessing, but that doesn’t make as much sense to me.
