How does one who cannot speak confess?

Hello - how does a person who cannot verbally communicate receive the sacrament of reconcilliation? I have a student with selective mutism who will not speak to those outside her family. Can she still receive first reconcilliation? How would this be done?

She can write down her sins as many deaf people do.
