How does Orthodoxy view Theology of the Body?

Perhaps its time finally for Orthodox and Catholics to discuss serious matters of central importance as the two other Fathers have indicated and not curse each other before we’ve had a chance to discuss. I hope that is what your post indicated.

I would be surprised if any Orthodox bishops know about the new theology of the body and so I just don’t believe it can be described as being of “central importance” to our bishops or to our faithful. It’s hardly even of peripheral importance.

One of the things which comes across strongly from Mr Torode is his opposition to birth control (he seems to have a Roman Catholic position on this) and this would put him at loggerheads with the ethos of Orthodoxy on this question which is not as restrictive as he is. It would also place him in opposition to the majority of parish priests.

One wonders under whose blessing he publishes his works and associates them with the Orthodox church? Does anybody know his parish and who his bishop is?

Anybody know if Mr Torode publishes his theological writings with the blessing of his bishop?
