Exactly, I have to laugh at all the people who constantly fall for the ‘celeb press’…these peoples REAL lifestyles are never shown to the public, only their ‘fake’ lifestyle, which is highly scripted and planned out ahead, every comment, every action they make, is planned, scrutinized by teams of handlers/ managers.

Lol really, if people couldn’t see that Miley and Nikki’s little confrontation at the VMA’s was scripted then I don’t know what to tell them haha. But in general Taylor’s pretty mild

I think this was true years ago, but now with instant media, celebrities have a hard time hiding behind their image makers.

I think instant media makes it easier to control a celebrities image rather than harder.

I was thinking how back in the day no one knew about Rock Hudson being gay or that Gary Cooper fathered a child out of wedlock.

Now if Taylor Swift goes to get a coffee, paparazzi snap her picture and it’s on the media instantaneously.

Even 20 years ago or so Nancy Kerrigan the skater made some off color remarks at a parade and she was captured on audio, and it was released, and she was criticized about her comments.

If Rock hadn’t died from AIDS, we still wouldn’t know he was gay. I think we’d both be very surprised to find out how many folks in movie, TV, and music are gay, that we’d never suspect. Of course, nobody cares about fathering a child out of wedlock now; it’s such a common occurrence.

Oh yes, I agree, all the so called instant videos we see, are likely planned, they get into these situations on purpose a lot of times, for all kinds of reasons too. Just watch TMZ for proof!!

Gone downhill or just grew up and can do her own thing?

I don’t think it’s wise to look to any public figure as someone to be held up as an example, especially young people. People are inevitably disappointed when a young person who is innocent (and chaste) ends up growing up and doing what ever they want to do. They are so likely to rebel especially if they have been idolized as something they are not and who wants to have fans that are the same age, 8-14 let’s say, while the celebrity reaches 18, 21, 24 years old. They don’t want to be a child star any more and, well, they aren’t a child star and I going out of their way to prove it.
