Hello,
I recently have come out of the closet to my family and they are very accepting. I have been baptized and Confirmed but now that I am open about my feelings I don’t feel as welcomed by the Catholic community. How does the Catholic church view homosexuality? Are we allowed to get married in the catholic church? Why do I feel so unwelcome when God says not to judge others? If we are all created in God’s image why is identifying as gay considered wrong by so many? I still identify as Catholic but I feel lost. Any words of advice or insight into what our faith believes would greatly be appreciated!!!
