How does the Church handle Relic Founding Claims?

I don’t know if this is the appropriate section to post this thread, but I am curious,

When it comes to those claiming to having legendary Relics (as in Archiologists, excavation, ect.) how does the Catholic Church and the Vatican handle it? Also are there any confirmed relics and if so, can I have some links to them?🤷

When it comes to ancient relics the Church has never and will never declare such relics to be authentic.
