Dear friend,
The unbaptized baby in the womb is physically close to the Body of Christ while the real presence resides in the mother’s body. It is very much like putting such a baby near the tabernacle. Certainly, Jesus loves loves that baby that He gave His life for. But it is when the baby is baptized that it comes alive in Him. It is then that it receives sanctifying grace. All the more reason, not to wait weeks and even months to have it baptized, as is currently so often the practice.
