I put some onion bulbs in, and am watering my tomatoes daily. Things are looking beautiful! The peas desperately need to be staked up, though. And I just can’t get the lettuce to grow. I sowed a few more seeds a couple of days ago, so hopefully those will take. I sowed in several different types of soil, since I think last time the soil had too much clay-like stuff. Some sandy, some very “earthy” if YKWIM, some that looked like potting soil dumped in a corner for some reason (we just bought the house last year, so still learning my way around the yard), etc.

I am going to try to post a picture of some broccoli we grew. I am using photobucket.

A family member (who shall remain nameless) sprayed the lawn with broadleaf killer recently to get rid of weeds. He came too close to my vegetable garden. Some other herbs and flowers throughout the yard also took a hit. I’m so sad right now. My garden is wilting. He felt bad when he saw the vegetable garden yesterday, and I tried to reassure him it was okay. My garden looks worse today, and I just noticed some plants in other areas struggling and dying. :crying:
