How far are you willing to go for pro-life sake?

‘Done. If there is ANY woman out there who says ‘The only way that I will not abort my baby is if you will care for it’ I don’t know a single pro-lifer that would not only WEEP FOR JOY at the very opportunity, but would fele privileged to do so’

And I think I’m right about that.

As I mentioned in another thread, I believe that God takes care of those who are killed from an induced abortion. I think this tempers me quite a bit in regards to drastic means of ending abortion.

I think abortion should be ended through a combination of legal means, and education on what actually happens (using biology as foundation, and then moving on to philosophy to talk about what makes a “person” such).

This changes if it were my own child. I have a 5 year old daughter and was never married. My ex was very against having our child aborted. So it wasn’t really an issue.
But if, say, I had never learned my lesson, and did it again, I would do whatever I could (including facing jail time) to prevent my child from being intentionally killed.
This would be very difficult to do, considering 1) There’s no way I could hurt the child’s mother for many reasons (such as it being immoral to do so), and 2) If I hang around her all the time to prevent an abortion, she could get a restraining order and have me arrested, then go get the abortion anyways. Then I’m in legal trouble and can’t provide for my 5 year old as well.
Man, that’s a very tricky situation. Thank God I learned my lesson!

And I think I’m right about that.

That’s very similar to the Gentiles who hid their Jewish Friends from the nazis, I think. Very admirable. And that child will thank you later for saving his/her life.

Personally, I am willing to face serious legal trouble (read: Imprisonment) (no. I’m not blowing up any clinics.) and serious physical trouble (read: get beaten to a pulp) for pro-life sake.

I am willing to be put on the rack, flayed, quartered, and put to death for both the sake of the unborn and the Church. Isn’t that what happens to +/- million babies each year? As for the economy and price of gas, I’ll pay $20/gallon for gas, heck I’ll give up driving altogether for the unborn. Where are our priorities in this country?

have been arrested, released after a few hours, the cases never came to trial as charges were dropped due to negative publicity over the way we were treated, including some of our group being physically assaulted by pro-abort counter-protesters. IMO if the Democratic party platform is allowed to overtake our legal system and destroy the Constitution we must all be prepared to face persecution on many fronts, so toughen up. I truly believe that at least in my children’s generation some will have to face prison, loss of liberty and security and even death, as I see ahead of us if we embrace the culture of death as national policy a time as dark as the reign of National Socialism.

In my view, Abortionists and abortion clinic workers are on the same moral level as Adolph Hitler and his cast of demons. Whatever evil befalls these monsters, I do not mourn one bit. Is this attitude sinful?

I don’t know, because I am having the same feelings about the one of the candidates in this year’s elections. As for the Clinic Workers, I doubt a direct assault on them would be justified, or excused in the name of the innocent. That is both the ugliness and the beauty of our laws, so far.
