Hazelnuts are in the chocolate cream center too. Itā€™s basically the same as Nutella.

They are very nice, though a bit expensive. I prefer the Raffaello chocolates myself.

By the way, it says in the article 'it is believed that he named them ā€œRocherā€ after the craggy rock grotto, called the Rocher de Massabielle, that marks the place where the Blessed Mother appeared to St. Bernadette in Lourdes, France.

So we donā€™t know for sure if the chocolates were inspired by Our Lady? I mean, other sources confirm he was a fervent Catholic, so Iā€™m not saying it isnā€™t entirely possible.

He was also the richest person in Italy and listed 20th richest in the world in 2014. I wonder if there are any stories if him giving money to any Christian charitable causes, a bit like the Chick-fil-A owners?

Nutella is also perfectly good cocoa ruined by hazelnut flavor

This is a nice story but it is not confirmed. The author says ā€˜it is believedā€™ and then conflates pilgrimage visits with this.

The better story to report is that this man had statues of the Virgin Mary put in every factory. He was a devout Catholic.

And the owner was concerned with taking good care of his workers.
I buy tic tacs just to support the company (and Ferro Rocher chocloates as well)!
