They are very nice, though a bit expensive. I prefer the Raffaello chocolates myself.
By the way, it says in the article 'it is believed that he named them āRocherā after the craggy rock grotto, called the Rocher de Massabielle, that marks the place where the Blessed Mother appeared to St. Bernadette in Lourdes, France.
So we donāt know for sure if the chocolates were inspired by Our Lady? I mean, other sources confirm he was a fervent Catholic, so Iām not saying it isnāt entirely possible.
He was also the richest person in Italy and listed 20th richest in the world in 2014. I wonder if there are any stories if him giving money to any Christian charitable causes, a bit like the Chick-fil-A owners?
