How good is a 9.1 on hotornot.com?

OH babycakes!!! lol…you CANT take that seriously!! or even really CARE about it…yesterday my girl came over…i showed her the site and we had a good laugh…for like an hour about it…we browsed thru…every guy who was a 8 and under we just gave a 1…lol…I think maybe 2 dudes we actually gave a 10 to!! no ones rating you seriously so I wouldnt be too concerned about it…

can you look people up on there?? my girl did it just for fun, to see what kinda rating she’d get…loll…imma go check it now…

and 7 ‘matches’ … i’m sure she’ll deny em all tho…

and she got an 8.8 rating…saying shes hotter than 87% of the other girls…and 155 have rated her…

so i think thats good…how funny…im sure you gotta take into account how many people have actually rated you…

She already got 155 ratings?! Wow, I’ve been on there a week, and I’ve only gotten something like 63 ratings, and that’s after repeated attempts to get more ratings. I’m beginning to think that it’s mostly dudes that are on there giving the ratings.

And as far as double matches go, I got a double match with another dude! I don’t even know how in the world that happened. And now it won’t even let me delete it! Ugh!

Thanks for the info. It’s always nice to get information like this from an insider. I do have a question, though. I actually started off with a 9.3, but it’s been going down ever since. Also, it seems as though late night raters tend to give much lower ratings for some reason. Is this what you have observed, too?

Haha I’ve never noticed a difference from night time ratings to day time ratings, I just always looked to the aggregation of all the ratings. 9.3 to 9.1 is no leap. That’s just regression to the mean. You might have started out (before having checked) with an 8.3 and then it went up to 9.3 and back down to 9.1. Scores tend to attenuate over time. Another thing is that, while there are people on there not rating others seriously, it’s still all relative. There are 9.9s on there and you’re not one of them for a reason. There are 6.9s on there and you’re not one of them for a reason. The ratings aren’t an accurate representation of attractiveness (but they should be pretty representative of how attractive people perceive you to be). If you’re over 9, you’re probably a nice lookin’ dude . Finally, if you want more ratings, you have to rate more people while logged into your account.

Holy moly! I posted another photo on there last night, and this morning when I checked, I got a 9.9!!!
