What theological argument is compelling in its favor? I see nothing at all theologically speaking that can defend WO. Now if we apply secular thinking to it and disregard the spiritual, then sure we can make compelling arguments.
Sorry I think you missed my meaning. I’m not saying its a right, or a priviledge. I was arguing that saying that WO is ahistorical, is not a good argument. Something being ahistorical does not mean its wrong, immoral, or in any other way negative. I don’t happen to think its a right or a privelidge, I honestly believe that the theological arguments against WO aren’t very convincing.
