I don’t read the Satanic Bible, but this woman strikes me as hysterical.
She took a book off the shelf, saw a scary or ugly picture, dropped it like a hot potato, and then freaked out after hearing a talk by a priest on demonic influences.
Books themselves do not cause demons to attack people. Only the ideas in them. Which she didn’t even read.

I’ve read the Satanic Bible.

It’s not what you might think it is. It’s pretty non-religious, and its writer doesn’t really believe in the person of the Devil so far as I can tell. Mainly, he’s Machiavellian: it’s fine to be selfish. You should follow your own desires and interests, and not care too much about what other people think.

But it’s not about actual Satan-worship, or black magic, or anything like that.

I have to say, it also contains ideas that have been often mentioned by both conservative and liberal extremes right here among Catholic posters. It might be worth reading it and asking, “How much of this stuff do I do?”

You are so right! It is all about self interest, self gratification and the sooner the better. Someone gave it to me as a joke once.
