I specifically qualified my statement. The level of information revealed should be appropriate to where the couple is in their relationship. IMHO, it is perfectly fine to lay out on the first date what is a deal-killer for a relationship. The other person doesn’t even have to reveal any information; that person can simply state that it is obvious that the relationship will not work out and be done with it. It wouldn’t be appropriate on the first date to give a play-by-play of one’s past sexual history, though there may be a time later in the relationship where more information is necessary.
What’s the point of being ultra-sensitive about sexual information? With all of the dates and relationships I have had, the discussion came up pretty quickly, either because I mentioned it or the girl did. There is no reason to shy away from the issue like a scared puppy. For virgins, this is the time to hold your head up high and with pride. For those who already practiced 1/2 of the positions in kama sutra with multiple partners, that’s the time to think about WTH you were thinking when you did those things and what you are going to do to compensate your future spouse for your lack of virginity (if the person they are dating is willing to accept them for it, I sure wouldn’t).
Conventional attractiveness has absolutely zero to do with virginity. Secondly, labeling someone ‘ugly’ is very unchristian, and you say you are a devout Catholic!?
Non-virgins are lower quality people? Wow, just wow… Again, remember Jesus said, “cast not the first stone”.
The point I was making is that physical attractiveness plays a big role in whether or not people will want to sleep with an individual. If a girl looks like a young guy with two infected mosquito bites on her chest, then there will certainly be FAR fewer people who are willing to be in a relationship with that girl. Same goes for guys, so don’t try to make it seem like it’s a women’s equality issue.

Your second sentence is out of touch with this world. Idc what religion a person is, people want to be with a partner they are PHYSICALLY ATTRACTED TO. This is part of human biology, as attractive people are likely to have fewer health problems and will be more likely to produce healthy offspring.
Yes, non-virgins are lower quality. I am not talking about how god views people. I am talking about how people view other people. I thought I made it very clear that when I was talking about human value (hierarchy viewpoint) that it was about people, not god. If virgins were the same quality as non-virgins, you would not have some girls selling their virginity for outrageous sums of money at an auction.
Sometimes there are parts of a person that make them “ugly” and “lower quality” that has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not they are virgins. Hopefully you get my drift enterthenewage.
Ugly=lack of physical attractiveness
Lower quality (in the context of people)=occupying a lower spot on the human hierarchy
Sometimes, people’s attitudes are so ugly I’m not surprised that people will not sleep with or marry them.
I am not trying to single out any individual and target them. I am simply stating the truth. What part of what I said is not true? Humans do not view everyone as being equal. If absolute equality was the norm, most of the world’s economies would not be capitalist in nature.
I think it’s ridiculous that people are attacked by fellow Catholics for having virginity as a standard in seeking a spouse. It was once the norm. People often reject each other for less important and shallower reasons and no one will bat an eye. If a man says he only wants to marry a blonde, no one throws a fuss, if a women says she only wants to marry someone tall, no one attacks her, but the second someone says they want to marry a virgin all of a sudden they are worse than satan and need to be burned at the stake. No one wants to admit that they are sins that make us less desirable in the eyes of others, but that is the reality of our world.
