It is not compulsory to go into-depth especially with the 6th Commandment.
The priest is cognizant when you calculate I had sexual esperiences with another person. I was taught in theology class that the priest is not to be intimate with any sexual happenings, Saying you had sexual problems with another person, I am sure the priest does not have to question this, He should know what you mean.
How if he is curious he could ask if it was a girl or a man–this would change the circumstances; other then that, they are not to go into details with the penitent.
EX: I masturbated, fine. He should refrain from did you do it with an animal, etc.
Remember the priest is trained in these matters and knows what to do, so don’t worry about them.
