We WATERED our lawn today! It’s greening up nicely and time to fertilize and aerate it. So, we watered twice today since our high was mid 70’s and no wind so we could soften the ground for aerating tomorrow…followed by fertilizing.

Stand back…my lawns going to shoot up like crazy! I’m now waiting to see the swollen buds on the trees burst forth with leaves…none are out yet…usually the willows show a shimmer of green first…still waiting…

I think we’re supposed to get some severe storms. And I believe it, it’s doing this weird thing where it will rain hard for a few seconds, then stop. Christ is risen, Happy Easter y’all! I’m going to go take a shower before there’s lightning.

Yesterday, we had a high of 75F, beautiful! Woke up this am with 3” of snow and a low of 17F…high today is expected to reach 33F.

At least in April, the snow will melt quickly and water the lawn…after we ran the sprinklers twice yesterday to get ready for aeration. 😤

The media has been promising severe thunderstorms all day today for the past 3 days.

Nothing but a drizzle so far. And humidity is low enough that my driveway dried within 30 minutes after that.

We had severe thunderstorms this morning, and some of the counties around us had tornadoes. I was up because I was sick. I still am.

Whaaa…it’s going to get to freezing tonight, and cold for the next 4-5 days.

I got a text this morning that we are under a tornado watch until 6 pm tonight. So far, so good!

My mother was in Augusta, and Richmond County (which is mostly Augusta anyway, because politics) had a tornado warning but not near her. Southern part of the county. Similarly, my brother lives in Columbia County, and they had tornado warnings around there, but not the part he lives in. Some counties are really big, so when I hear “Aiken County has a tornado warning” (one of the adjacent counties), I need it narrowed down, as that is literally at the end of the road I live on (since Aiken County is 1,081 mi²)

Hope you feel better soon Adam.
Surprisingly mild this morning …in the night there were a few drops of rain bit yesterday was really beautiful weather 🙂
Perfect weather for gardening, raking up leaves and building the bonfire…restrictions are now off and I’m looking forward to burning garden rubbish.Leaves to the compost though.
The beans and pumpkins still growing.
