(IsraelNN.com) A highly influential Shi’a religious leader, with whom Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad regularly consults, apparently told followers last month that coercion by means of rape, torture and drugs is acceptable against all opponents of the Islamic regime. …]

“Can an interrogator rape the prisoner in order to obtain a confession?” was the follow-up question posed to the Islamic cleric.

Mesbah-Yazdi answered: “The necessary precaution is for the interrogator to perform a ritual washing first and say prayers while raping the prisoner. If the prisoner is female, it is permissible to rape through the vagina or anus. It is better not to have a witness present. If it is a male prisoner, then it’s acceptable for someone else to watch while the rape is committed.”…

A related issue, in the eyes of the questioners, was the rape of virgin female prisoners. In this instance, Mesbah-Yazdi went beyond the permissibility issue and described the Allah-sanctioned rewards accorded the rapist-in-the-name-of-Islam:

“If the judgment for the [female] prisoner is execution, then rape before execution brings the interrogator a spiritual reward equivalent to making the mandated Haj pilgrimage [to Mecca], but if there is no execution decreed, then the reward would be equivalent to making a pilgrimage to [the Shi’ite holy city of] Karbala.”

One aspect of these permitted rapes troubled certain questioners: “What if the female prisoner gets pregnant? Is the child considered illegitimate?”

Mesbah-Yazdi answered: “The child borne to any weakling [a denigrating term for women - ed.] who is against the Supreme Leader is considered illegitimate, be it a result of rape by her interrogator or through intercourse with her husband, according to the written word in the Koran. However, if the child is raised by the jailer, then the child is considered a legitimate Shi’a Muslim.”

  1. Can you give source to this.
  2. I am a Sunni Muslim, and many of the Fatwas given by the Shia branch, have been completely and unquestionably against the teachings of Islam therefore if this is true I am not surprised.
  3. I am aware of the oppression by Muslims of other Muslims, in the middle-east, but this too is unquestionably against the teachings of Islam.
  4. People eventually begin to use the word of God, or this extremely twisted reasoning of it to exploit others. This is not the teachings of Islam.
  5. As in most religions people create loop-holes, where there is already no room for any, thus going against the true teaching of that particular religion.
Note* Just because a person commits an act, and claims it is from their religion or their religion sanctifies it or justifies it, does not mean he is telling the truth, and that the religion allows it.

It is better not to have a witness present
Under Muslim law, if someone has witnessed the rape, the rapist is punished with death. So these guys know what they’re doing as far as getting away with sins goes.
The child borne to any weakling [a denigrating term for women - ed.] who is against the Supreme Leader is considered illegitimate, be it a result of rape by her interrogator or through intercourse with her husband, according to the written word in the Koran
And once again, Muslim leaders use the ignorance of Muslims to trick their followers. There are no verses in the Qu’ran that describe what this man is talking about.

My understanding is that according to Moslem law it takes FOUR witnesses to prove a rape.

God Bless you Christos!

**i pray that all of your Muslim brothers and sisters stand up against these atrocities by murders and rapists who use a bastardized version of the Muslim religion to blaspheme the name of God!

If more brave Muslims would stand up against these tyrants, the world would be a better place.**

Peace to you and all those you love!

this is my understanding in very simplified way, what I say here shouldn’t be taken as facts…there are scholars who are more knowledgeable than me.

If I accused someone of committing a rape, I have to provide 4 witnesses to back up that accusation…otherwise, I’ll be punished for Qathf (false accusation)

If someone raped a woman, the rapist can be identified by 4 witnesses. if no one witnesses that rape (which is usually the case) . any evidence that supports the accusation is to be provided to the judge…such as DNA, video tape, finger print…etc
but I am not sure on what is done if there is no evidence left and the rapist didn’t confess…maybe someone can help here…

the condition of 4 witness not applied to the rape crime , it’s just apply to the adultery or drinking wine

i agree with you hadi 👍

 That is an evil fatwa by that evil Shiat cleric Mesbah-Yazdi :takethat:.

That is totally against all forms of humanity…, where are our Shiat Muslims to condemn him and prosecute him for such awful fatwa.

The Israeli outlet gave no source for its story, and it has been known to run less-than-verified claims. So our judgement at EA was “How far away are we staying from this?!” Other sites, however, eagerly ran the piece, and it is now enshrined on Wikipedia.
The story is false. Chris Emery did some more digging and found that it had been posted at Balatarin (a portal like Digg and Newsvine for Internet articles) three weeks ago in the “Fun/Entertainment” section. The original story has now been pulled, because so many people mistook it for reality, but a quick read of the Balatarin version (even with the shaky English offered by Google Translate) makes clear that this was a bit of very black comedy gone very badly wrong.

You need witnesses or evidence to prove a claim or a crime. A lady that has been raped is not a criminal and she is not liable on anything on her part. The rapist should be caught and punished.

Rape is a violation and a crime in Islam . Many scholars consider it a form of ‘‘Harabah’’ which means to wage war against society. Thus it is punishable by death under sharia law. The Muslim ruler is obliged to catch and punish the rapist.

A lady that has been raped , and have a child out of this rape simply informs the authorities that this happen and she has no obligation what so ever . Even in th ecase that she wasnt raped and she is not married , and she is pregnant , she has the right to deflect the charge by any other claims like temporary insanity , epilipcy, need to sell her body or else she would starve to death etc…

The story of the lady who went to the prophet Muhammed admitting fornication . The prophet didn’t want to meet her , he sent her away many times hoping she would change her mind and not ask for herself to be punished. He asked her if she is mentally well . He kept delaying her for more than a year hoping that she would just repent between herself and God .

This story is a famous story. Another one is a lady who came to Medina and said to the prophet that a sheep herder on the border of the city wouldnt quench her thirst except she sells her body to him. so she did . The prophet told her that she had no liability whatsoever.

As for states using rape as a weapon , well that is just sick . In Islam punishments ar emandated by shariah and they have to be against a crime. ( a real crime and not a political one )

In Islam there is the death penalty , lashing , imprisonment and stoning . These punishments are made against a certain crime.

TO END THIS SILLY POST

asking israeli media about islam is trying to get objective idea about Judaism from Hitler.

I’m very glad to hear that this particular story is false, still I must wonder aloud: How sick must you be to find stories about rape suitable for the comedy section of a website?

Maybe it loses something in the translation from Farsi to English, but still… 😦

Thanks famdigy for the link, but it would be more appreciated if “Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi” comes out on TV and denies that, to make sure that no Muslim would follow that fatwa.

Rape in the Mullah’s prisons

“Rape in the Mullahs’ prisons is not an individual decision of an interrogator, as one may commonly believe; it is a systematic process based on a belief system, and for promoting a political agenda. In the Mullahs’ prisons, rapes are often planned. The primary motive for rape is not sexual. They regard and believe in rape as a routine duty, due to its prescription by Islamic clerics of high stature like Ayatollah Mesbakh Yazdi, and its acceptance by the entire Mullah regime. With that in mind, their act of rape is not merely a question of psycho-criminality, but a justified crime.”

I doubt that any Muslim will follow a fatwa only found in the Israeli News Network
