Jesus said there will be One flock and One shepherd!

:tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk:
And I fully acknowledge this. You define the term “flock” differently than I do …

How long will it take for non-Catholics to finally accept Catholicism?

I think it will take less than 5 years for the majority of non-Catholics to accept Catholicism.
That’s interesting. I think your speculation may have something to do with the end times, no? I don’t know about a time frame, but I can see why you would guess less than 5 years. In recent weeks, I have started to believe–influenced by posters on this forum–that major conversion will only take place in the coming darkness of the antichrist.

Why? Because in such a troubled time there will be a need for cohesion. The Body will have to work as one in order to defeat the coming evil. Peter is the Rock we will cling to in the face of such chaos. Protestantism is confusion. If the Catholic Church will not lead us through the end times, who will? Which Protestant preacher will finally figure it all out on his own? Exactly… There will be need for leadership and soundness of doctrine. God has made it so that a large majority of Christians are Catholic, He doesn’t have that much work left. It’s just a shame that it’s gonna take so much distress to get us all back to true faith. One Catholic blogger that I read predicts that former Protestants will put the cradle-Catholics to shame with their love for all they formerly despised, most especially the Eucharist. He also believes that the Eucharist is how we will triumph over the coming evil.
You didn’t include “never” as an answer (which of course is the right answer). It will be the other way around
I can’t see how that would be possible. Which Church will we all turn to? Or maybe we’ll all just form our own Churches. More division in the body of Christ.

I dont see why it is important for Catholics to be accepted by non Catholics. The Church is not a population contest. Why should be care.

Salvation is definitely possible outside the Church and being a Catholic is not a ticket to heaven, but we should care about heresy. I completely understand why it’s so hard for some to see the Catholic Church this way. I trust that things will become clearer for us all.

Well , I simply don’t like the question !!
We all live on this planet , don’t fight eachother ,
what’s the use ?? For me , everyone is equal !!

And about the poll , as someone wrote earlier ,
“NEVER” is not even mentioned !! Why ??
I guarantee it. Who can resist the Truth?
True , but what is the truth , since there only exist the truth !!
For me , everyone is equal !!

Of course all people are equal under God. But all teachings are not equal.

Yes sweetie and the Pope is your Pope too even though you do not acknowledge this.

Tough luck, I say!

🙂
Sweetie? But another example of the incredible rudeness of some here. I think there is such a thing as lack of humility? And Pride? ever heard of either? I think they are still considered sins in the Roman church as well as ours. Perhaps it’s been excluded so some of you can be so utterly uncharitable in your treatment of others.IIt’s really shameful how some of you act here.

Is Sweetie an insult? It was not meant to injure. Perhaps it is my age?! I call people Dear and Sweetie and things. Please accept my humble apology. I forget sometimes that some people may be sensitive.

Sorry

I hope you didn’t consider my post rude to Protestants. I only have pride in my Church. I’ve fallen far too short all too often to have much pride in myself. I do agree that it’s shameful how so many of us act here. And it happens on nearly every single thread. It’s something we all need to work hard to improve.

[sarcasm]Because there’s nothing rude or condensing about the attitude of “We’re right and you’re wrong, even if you don’t agree. It’s our way or the highway!”.[/sarcasm]

I agree on what is green colored !!

Maybe when Catholics accept Catholicism.
See! Y’all are still arguing amongst yourselves about what a “Real Catholic” is. 🤷

I have no reason to return to the so called “True Church”, especially with the arrogance I see on display here everyday.

When did I say “it’s our way or the highway” or something equivalent?

I’m not trying to be condescending, I just tried to put it the way I see it… I used very common-sensical arguments. Perhaps you would like to address one?

Anyway, I apologize for any harm done.

I would like to add that the “We’re right and you’re wrong” attitude is also fervent in all sects of Protestantism. And while a whole lot of that is directed at the Catholic Church, a great bit of it is directed at all the other various Protestant sects.

God is teaching us all a lesson. We will come together one way or another. My post was just to explain why I believe we will come together in the Catholic Church.

I love Louis L’amour btw. Which was your favorite book?

I think it will take less than 5 years for the majority of non-Catholics to accept Catholicism.
I think that the Protestant movement will most likely run for another 200 years or so, before it finally dies out. It will be crushed under the weight of its addictions to novelty and rebellion against established authority.

Which is why I’m no longer Christian.
I was an agnostic for 5 years. For the same reasons. I started judging Christianity by the behavior of Christians. Big mistake. I hope you’ll one day look past all our faults to revere the teachings that we aspire to. And I hope much more for you, of course…

I remember one of my favorites was Fair Blows the Wind I’ve been wanting to go back and read some of those. Never read Daybreakers, though.
