How many Catholic prayer books do you own?

I recently bought two and I really enjoy them and I’m wondering if I should purchase more I want to make sure I continue getting use out of them. So I’m just curious how many Catholic prayer books do you own or is necessary.
 
I own about 20 … so don’t worry how many you purchase … having as much prayer in your life as possible is a great thing.
 
That’s a good amount 😀 Prayer is so important I guess you can never have enough.
 
Well, one four volume set of the Liturgy of the Hours.

Other than Scripture and the Rosary, its what I use exclusively.

I have many large and small. Many come in the mail as requests for donations and I gather them together and hand them off to our House of Concern. But otherwise - I have many and I like to read them to see how others past and present call out and speak to God. I find that these books inspire me - especially the Psalms and the Book of Wisdom.
 
I’ve actually lost count over the years as to how many prayer books I have, as I have many small ones that you could consider “pocket prayer books,” that are small enough that you could fit them into a purse for a lady or into a pocket for a gentleman.

I also have some of the small ones that are what you could call Novena booklets that tell a story about a particular saint, and then have prayers for that saint. I picked those up at a Catholic book store/church book store.

Then I have some that were given to me as a gift, too. Those are what I would call the more traditional ones, like “The New St. Joseph’s People’s Prayer Book,” for example.

Ditto.

My two years in the monastery – from the age of 19 to 21 – deeply influenced my prayer life, to the point that the Psalms are my go-to prayers. After that, all the other prayer books I’ve seen just haven’t done much for me.
 
Blessed be God is the best one I have ever seen or had. It is expensive though, so I got it one year for Christmas. I think it runs around 50.00 new, and if I lost it, I would buy another one.

I have a St. Joseph, but it pales in comparison. I also use Ladate, a Catholic app. It has great prayers and is free. I use Laudate and Blessed be God almost every day.
 
I took the plunge and bought another prayer book. It was only 6 bucks if anything I can give it to my Mom.
 
I don’t have many “prayer books” per se (books with prayers in them). I mostly use the Liturgy of the Hours, Psalms, etc as a specific resource. Otherwise I mostly do some sort of Lectio Divina or mental prayer.

I would however recommend some books ABOUT Prayer that I found to help immensely with my prayer life.

I’m sure some others here would have some great recommendations as well.
