Okay estesbob, where have we gotten the “actual” numbers of Jews who died during the various Inquisitions that occured? Don’t the records kept by those of the Jewish Faith coincide with those of the Catholic Church? I don’t know if they do, or not, but I do think we as Catholics do get very defensive when someone points out the warts on the door of the Vatican. But, just because there are warts on the door (frail humanity) doesn’t mean the door has been opened. (the doctrines and dogmas of the church.) Those I do believe, but I also believe the human members of the Church stand guilty of many misdemeaners. In other words you cant substatiate the numbers you posted. The best estimates as the number who died during the 400 years of the inquisition is 4,000. Regardless of how you want to spin it there is a huge difference between the claims you made and the actual numbers.
