As someone recommended in the previous post, it’s time to start a new one as the other one was two years old.

I added an option of “0” since it was not included in the last poll.

God bless all of you!

I’m not married and I have 0. Dont know if the poll is only for married couples though… (i did vote by the way). 🙂

I have three and I seriously cannot see myself with more than that as they are almost grown.

Which is probably why I should not remarry.

I think though if I were younger and a stay at home mom, the thought would have been more palatable. However, as my ex husband was not a good financial provider and I had to work, a lot of kids was not ideal for me.

Although even though we had a pretty bad marriage and were constantly separated, I still managed to have three.

I wonder how many I would have had if we stayed together. 🤷😃

I’m glad you started a new one. After two years, some people have a different answer. 😃

Let’s leave it open to everyone. Otherwise it gets complicated. Some may be single parents, some may have been married, but now their marriages have been annuled, or some are widows/widowers.

Let’s keep it simple. 🙂

One can always comment like you did about their specific situation.

So you would have had more to be planned? 😃

I don’t know lol. I didn’t plan any of them. At that time I was using the calendar method, which actually worked pretty well for me. When it didn’t work was when I said,
  • oh who cares?
  • it is fine at this time (then realized immediately after that I had miscalculated)
  • on my honeymoon when I wasn’t yet using the calendar method and decided to forgo the artificial contraception I carried with me.

I have 1 child currently, but I am also a single parent. I hope to get married and have at least 2 more someday, but I am leaving that decision up to God.

I don’t have any but I love other people’s children very, very much. Ran into a family of 7 little girls the other day. Heather, Lily, Violet, Rose, Zinnia, Daisy and Iris!

Blessings, Chochy

We have 6 children. Our oldest is 25, our youngest living child is 2. We have 1 saint in heaven, I was blessed to be his mom for 16 days last June.

One of our children is adopted, she is from Ethiopia.

None. And don’t want any. One miscarriage is enough. And advised to not get pregnant again by my doctor. So DH and I are childfree (I prefer “childfree” to “childless”. I don’t need pity).

We have two kitties at home. Which I love more than life self.

3 now, but if you ask again in about 7 months, I’ll have to say 4…of course, it could be 5, we haven’t had an ultrasound yet…

Before I truly understood the beauty of being open to life, I would shake my head in disbelief as my Aunt would announce a pregnancy over and over again. She had 9 kids.

My uncle was a deadbeat, so I couldn’t believe she kept on getting pregnant. Eventually she became too embarrassed to admit the pregnancies until she was about 6 months.

What do you all think about having lots of kids when one does not have a supportive husband?

I said two because I have two living. Three miscarriages. 😦

As for the non-supportive spouse, if the person is still married, I don’t see a problem with them continuing to have children. Presumably she continues to hope and pray that her husband will recover (if he is ill) or get a job (if he is out of work). In a situation where he is abusive, deserting, etc… than it behooves her to be continent. To me that is a grave reason to postpone pregnancy. A temporally (hopefully) out of work husband is not as much.

Nah he was just a deadbeat. Would work, but not bring home the money.
