i have been wondering why there are many different races in the world, and why are many ethnic communities and languages in the same world and yet, from my early ages, i have been told that there is only one Creator who is God. i normally ask myself a question that if God is One and He is the one who created the whole univese, why then didn’t create simila things for example black people with the same language?can’t it be that He was experimenting while creating? and i not, were there many creators who created things in his own design?::confused:

At one time all humans had dark skin, but those who migrated to cooler climates where there was less sun developed paler skins. anthro.palomar.edu/adapt/adapt_4.htmOne God created us all…we adapted to different climates. People with freckles…those freckles are patches, little patches of darker skin that only really develop when a person goes about in the sunshine. The skin would remain pale if the person prone to freckles never goes into the sun or always covers up…this is a little indication of what a sunny climate can change.

Even in the same landmass, people separated by distance can develop different variations in language and dialect. Language changes over the centuries, If you try to read old English or even medieval English, you might think you are reading a foreign language.
We travel all over the world now and have TV and movies, but prior to trains, cars, airplanes, many people sometimes travelled no further than the nearest village. Naturally local changes occurred in language and accent. Appearance in people isolated for millennia can occur…but less likely now in countries that are multicultural and now that the human race travels and mingles.

One God created our wonderful human race. 🙂

Fantastic goods from you, man. Ive study your stuff ahead of and youre just as well amazing. beats by dre I enjoy what youve got right here, adore what youre stating and the way you say it. You make it entertaining and you even now manage to help keep it wise. I cant wait to go through additional from you. That is really an incredible .

This is explained in Genesis 11.

"1 Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. 2 As men moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there

3 They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”

5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building. 6 The LORD said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”

8 So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel —because there the LORD confused the language of the whole world. From there the LORD scattered them over the face of the whole earth."

Interesting
Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.’”
Genesis 3:22 “And the LORD God said, ‘The man has now become like one of us…’”

I have a friend who is Wiccan and states these two and others prove not in the triune nature of God, but that god exists in many forms and proves her religion. She further states it is a reason why we are of different colors because we are ancestors of the 5.

She is Odd,but her heart is in the right place.

But as for Human’s skin being dark first, Many more pepole say it was a medium light shade first much like those in the middle east now and that the skin color changes are adaptations though evolution so we could survive in those areas where people migrated after the Babylon incident. Interesting think is I think that may be true. Folks with extremely light or extremely dark skin tend to have less hair too. Light skin due to animal’s skins being work and the human hair not needed as much, and dark because the sun and atmosphere is warm enough that the hair is not needed as much either.

I actually just discussed this in detail with someone, peter26.

“God’s image” and “like God” can be taken more than one way. We reflect God in spirit. REFLECT. We are not God or Gods. Your friends “god” does likely exist it is likely a Demon. I never bothered to study their literature but don’t they worship natural forces (fire water blah blah) and think they can cast spells? If so make no mistake their “god” is real and is not a god it is a demon. Part of their agenda is to steal worship because God is very jealous.

When God said we became like them who are they?. The others with Him (Angels at the least) .
HOW did we become like them? VERY important. We became like them in that we now know the difference between good and evil. I see that you trailed off and left that part out.

EDIT: God promised to make us gods that does not happen until after revelations and judgment. I’m sure it could happen but so far no one even moved a tree into the ocean (faith the size of a mustard seed can uproot a tree and plant it in the ocean).

Sorry peter26 that was not directed at you. The post about the wiccan’s argument seems to have been deleted. I don’t know why I thought you posted it.

They don’t have literature.
yes they worship nature.
and, I doubt they are organized enough to have an ‘agenda’
they are not like the Mormons
And I think you are thinking of the Witches not Wicca as far as spells. The witches use caldrens and lizards etc.

…but you post truth as far as the scripture.
I was just communicating what another’s belief is…strange though it is, it is an interesting perspective.
We often do not realize how the same words we read and understand can be totally slanted in another way.

Sorry I wrote that when I first was still tired and I got a little confused for a second dealing with my wife and daughter and posting at the same time. ignore that lol. I thought you were quoting another post and the original poster deleted theirs.

No I know that wiccans think they are different from witches in certain ways (stolen worship is stolen worship as far as I know). I met one before he wore “gothic” clothes and said his parents raised him wiccan. I think he said they believe in casting spells or something similar but in a different way. Doesn’t really matter I guess.

And that is very true about words. That is the main way people are deceived. I probably shouldn’t joke about it but “define sexual relations” - Bill Clinton.

My experience is that in that religion as in ours… ritual varies.

Like some of us pray the rosary, some don’t even own one.

Someone who I do know has tried casting spells etc (knows better than do it around me too) says it isn’t much different than praying and lighting candles to take the prayers to heaven.
I of course don’t buy that, but have tried bringing her closer to Christ.
Through this process, she has at least given up the idea that she is homosexual. That is progress I guess. Chris remains on my prayer list.

All you need to know is that there is only One God, therefore there is only One Creator. Genesis gives us some of the reasons for the multitude of languages and peoples, the rest of the Old Testament gives us other insights. The Science of antropology can help explain other details, other sciences can help explain others. It is pretty certain that the human race started in a warm climate. As populations grew more dense people began to migrate to gain space, going first to warm climates.

As time went on languages began to become more and more diverse, a natural phenomenon, until they became totally different. Skin colors were no doubt effected by climate, thus the different race colors.

Yet we are all still human, we are all still rational animals. And in that we are all rational, having intellects, will, and memory, we are images or our One Creator.

Of course in all these changes the Creator has been at work moving all peoples toward His Plan for Salvation. 👍

For starters, race is largely an artificial concept that is primarily skin deep. People are much more genetically similar than you may think. That goes into another topic.
and why are many ethnic communities and languages in the same world and yet,
language develops organically. Communities of people modify and invent language as needed. If those communities are isolated (or have some level of separation from other communities) then you will see those languages develop differently. Australia, England, and the USA all use English but there’s differences in their English. Within the USA you’ll find that people tend to speak differently in New York than they do in Texas. And so on. There may even be differences in dialect among people in different areas of the same state. This is more based on social connections, which can often be inferred by geography, though not always (ex: Mexico is closer to GA than Hawaii, but Hawaii is tied closer to GA socially than Mexico).
from my early ages, i have been told that there is only one Creator who is God. i normally ask myself a question that if God is One and He is the one who created the whole univese, why then didn’t create simila things for example black people with the same language? can’t it be that He was experimenting while creating?
Take a look at the evolution of language. As mentioned before communities of people develop and modify language as needed. You’ll find that a stronger indicator of whether or not people use similar languages and dialects is the community in which they lived, not their race. Given an adopted child that was raised by parents that live in Spain from shortly after birth what language would you expect the child to speak? If you knew the “race” of the child’s biological parents would that influence your expectation? Race becomes a superfluous attribute with respect to explaining your language question.

Rare to find people out there that are actually fishing. Good job on the homosexual part. She worships demons and probably does not know it. You are doing a highly respectable thing. Be careful not to let them influence your thoughts. They are around wherever people think they are casting spells.

Andrew:

If we postulate more than one, we beg a couple of very important questions: Which creator created the second creator. Which begs a further question: Was it the first creator, or the second one, that created the third one? And so on.

Next: Who’s in charge? Do they, through chance, create helter-skelter? Or, is there order to their creations?

Third: They must be finite, as no two (or more) infinite entities can co-exist in the same place, at the same time, and in the same respect. Now, if they are finite, they must be more than the universe. As the philosopher said, “That which is created exists in a lesser way within its creator.” The Universe is so large that we can see it. But, we have never seen anything else but the universe.

Fourth: We have Revelation. It holds that there is but one creator - even though He consists of three Persons that are different aspects of the One Creator. Nowhere in Revelation are we told that the Three Persons in One God conferred or collaborated on “creation.” So, we can’t hypothesize more than one Creator from Revelation.

Fifth: We are told that He is Omnipotent (All Powerful) and Fecund. Having these determinants allows Him to make whatever He wants, where ever He wants, and when ever He wants. Secondary creators would be irrelevant.

I think there’s only one.

God bless,
jd

Another great post.

The evolution of skin colour (and why it even needed to evolve in the first place) is a rather interesting topic, i can supply you with something i wrote on the topic if you’d like.

If God did create us, theres nothing to stop people from migrating around, creating new languages, new cultures. Indeed, the language we know as English hasn’t even existed for more than a couple thousand years. You could come up with a new language and get enough people to speak it, if you really wanted to. So, its more of a human creation.

It doesn’t seem all that logical to see diversity in the world and assume there must be more than one creator. Surely, a single creator is just as capable as making many races and languages as a multiple creator is.

INdeed
I know folks who speak Elvin (from Lord of the Rings) and Klingon (from Star Trek)
Talk about made up languages.
