How many non-Catholics here watch EWTN?

I do! I do! I especially like Father Corapi,that man has no B.S. straight to the point he,s like a marine for Christ! also Father Groeschel is great,and journey home is good,and the show with former football star Danny Abramowicz is something all men should watch. In Christ
 
I watch EWTN fairly often, particularly Fr. Groeschel’s program, the daily Mass (though not every day) and, sometimes, The Journey Home. I watch other programs if one catches my eye as I channel surf.
 
I watch Father Corapi (Corapi must be Italian for no ****, because he says it straight)

I also watch Father Groeschel. I’ve always enjoyed the man, but more so after learning about his history with exorcism in NY State.

Is ETWN where Catholics get the false information that the bible is a Catholic Book?

Jimmy likes to toss out these questions to provoke (in its most benign sense) response. I’m not really sure of the point myself, but occasionally I let myself be drawn in.:doh2:

By the way, I am a non-Catholic who finds EWTN much more edifying than TBN.
 
Where I live, the channel that EWTN is on is shared with another christian network. It’s frustrating because one hour I am watching a mass and then Charles Stanley or some local Baptist church kicks in. EWTN gets much less air-time.
I love the Journey Home show. I’m currently going through RCIA.

I only have it on when I can’t sleep. However if Mother Angelica is on I end up glued to the tv. LOL

I think she is adorable, sassy, and wise all at once.

Oh, and she is “real”.
 
Yes on occasion. Can’t say that I have watched it enough to tell you what I like and dislike.

A few times it seemed to get over the top. Most times though it was pretty good.

In the damning with faint praise department I do like it better than TBN.

I love Jimmy’s threads, he is a true defender of the church and he isn’t afraid to show it nor is he afraid to speak the truth. Keep it going Jimmy! The Holy Spirit compels you to do this! 👍
 
I watch EWTN everyday, doesn’t make me like the RCC, just is better then watching something other than Home Improvement, Walker Texas Ranger, or George Lopez. I usually watch Military Channel, but 90% of their stuff is re-runs now.
 
First I have heard of the network is when a google search brought me to this website. I have yet to see it. I guess they don’t buy broadcast and basic cable channels in every market like the Crouch’s did with TBN

Perhaps, but when I walked you through the Mass a couple of weeks ago, you seemed to come out of it with a more favorable opinion, especially about the homily. It certainly doesn’t seem to be hurting your opinion of the church.
