How many of us will end up in hell?
By “us” I mean the inhabitants of the modern world.

The question should be how many of us desire or hope to be in Heaven one day. I for one have no clue who is in hell or who will end up there. That isnt for me to know or my place to say if someone will end up there or not. I personally wish that everyone would repent and believe so that we can all be in heaven. How many of us will end up in hell?

Then maybe you should read this:I for one have no clue who is in hell or who will end up there.
So…Romano…you believe all that sedevacantist bunk? Always check the page for a home page so ya know who you’re reading.
That is a dissent filled website. I’m not sure if I would trust anything they post.
Revelation 12:4 indicates that about a third will be damned. How many of us will end up in hell?

What I mean is it is not up to me who is in hell or in heaven. I am not the judge of that, Jesus is.
Ah, Michael! So the other guys are always ABSOLUTELY WRONG (even the Saints they quote, which in this case was St. Leonard of Port Maurice) and you are always ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. Must be a nice feeling. So…Romano…you believe all that sedevacantist bunk? Always check the page for a home page so ya know who you’re reading.
BRAVO! But perhaps you’d better be careful or someone around here will probably accuse you of being a ‘sedevacantist’ too.At Fatima, Mary said that she see’s souls falling into hell like snowflakes.
That is why we must pray.

Good point! The concept of eternal damnation is very discomfiting. I guess that most priests, feeling that their congregation doesn’t even want to think about it, take care not to mention it. They might also be concerned that some people can become so obsessed with the fear of hell that they end up fleeing Catholicism by leaving the Church. Barbara Pappas, an Orthodox Christian, offers some good advice in her ‘Are You Saved’ (p.47):I do wish more people believed in Hell. Any Priest who doesn’t paint a realistic picture to their congegration is being very remiss (same with the layity as well).
