How many of you pray the Liturgy of the Hours?

How many of you pray the Liturgy of the Hours? I think there is a norm within the Catholic laity starting praying the Vespers.
 
I pray Daily Prayer from The Divine Office which is quite common and a shorter version of The Divine Office. We do have Vespers at times in our parish and I really would love to be able to pray the Hours in community, but it is too far and dark for me to walk having no car.
I pray Morning Prayer with the Introductory Prayer, Evening Prayer, Night Prayer (Night Prayer only takes about 5 - 8 minutes)…they only take about ten minutes each … and begin and end the day and then before retiring. Ten minutes three times daily is not at all long, and it is not so much the length of time given to prayer, as the attention we give it when we do pray.
I tack onto Morning Prayer the Reading and Gospel for the day and onto Evening Prayer the Second Reading for the Office of Readings…and these add at the very most 5 minutes to each Hour. Not long! …this way I can keep to my routine on the most busiest of days without any problems. I also spend at least 15 minutes sometime during the day in private prayer and my intentions. In the evenings I light a candle for my intentions.

I pary Morning and Evening prayer and most days the Office of Readings. I like reading the writings of the saints that are contained in the OOR
 
Morning prayer regularly, and oftentimes evening prayer–although with family obligations evening prayer isn’t as much as I wish I could.

Morning prayer at Church, Evening prayer on my own, and OOR periodically because I too like the writings of the saints!

In theory, I say all of the hours, but in practice, I usually miss 2-3. Which ones that is depends on the day. I should really make a better effort to say them all. :o
 
Morning Prayer, Daytime Prayer, Evenine Prayer, Office of Readings, Night Prayer.

Or at least I try to. On a given day I might miss some. I hate that. Oh, do I hate it.

Also, I typically chant them. 👍
 
Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer and trying to form the habit of Night Prayer.
 
I pray the morning prayer(lauds) by myself, and the evening prayer(Vespers) with my wife.

We’re both OCDS, and its part of our Rule of Life.

I use “My Daily Psalm Book”, an old edition from Joseph Frey, of the Confraternity of the Precious Blood, 1947, Brooklyn, NY.

It copies the Psalms according to the Divine Office, for each day of the week, Matins, Lauds, Prime, Terce, Sexth, None, Vespers and Compline.

It carries the name of the third Bishop of Brooklyn, Thomas E. Molloy (R.I.P.), and a “Nihil Obstat” from my old Scripture professor, George Denzer.

A very nice little prayer book.

I tried to follow the LOTH thread and it was intersting so much goes into the liturgy. But I pray with the magnificat and try to get to mass 20 min. early to pray as most are quiet at our parish so that works.

And my advisor, he has given me a scedule and ideas for prayer.

Fear not! Sister Margaret’s book will be reprinted and available in March!

If I recall correctly there is ALWAYS some flipping when using CP. In the 4-volume LOTH, on ferial days (like today), you can read MP & EP without ever going to the Proper or Common.
