I was just wondering, how many of the users on this site wear the Miraculous Medal?

I love Sacramentals (Crucifixes, Medals etc.) and always have done- a number of months ago I made the Consecration the Miraculous Medal (whilst in a state of grace) and have tried to wear it and promote it the best I can. I run a Rosary Group in the Parish where I work and I have handed out Miraculous Medals and Novenas in the Group- we also renew Our Consecrations regularly.

I have a beautiful Miraculous Medal which you will see below in the Picture- I got it at the shop next to Westminster Cathedral in London and had it blessed by a Priest I admire very much at once and it has been Blessed by other Priests since (I know it didn’t need to be). I will share my one with you- it was the most beautiful one I had ever since therefore I had to buy it.

I must say however that I notice when I wear the Medal with devotion the Devil sets out to get me and it is evident to me that he wants me to take it off- and wants to convince me that my sins make me unworthy of it- it is like he will do anything to get it off- many Saints have spoken about this and the power of the Miraculous Medal.

I am sure most of you that wear it know the origins of the Medal- there are surely posts on here about its origins and also on the net you can find easily but I would be happy to write a post on this if needed.

I have so many Medals and favourite Devotions etc. that I often wear other medals and Sacramentals but the Miraculous Medal is extremely special and I can see its Spiritual power.

O Mary Conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

Nope, no medals or jewelry of any kind except for my wedding ring. That’s just me, and if others find it helps their life to wear them, that is perfectly fine.

Everyone is of course different but one could argue the Miraculous Medal is not jewelry but a Sacramental and if used with true devotion, a means for grace.

I wear it often. I don’t at work because I am afraid I will pull it off. It has come off in the past but I was lucky that it stayed in my shirt.

It’s not an either-or, it’s both. A religious medal is a form of jewelry used with devotion and a channel of grace.

I wear mine ever day.

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
Sacred Heart of Jesus. we place our trust in Thee.

I have worn mine for years but at the moment I have a very sore neck so I pin it to my clothing.

I have worn mine for at least 7-8 years and only take it off during hair dyeing. (Yes, it stays on in shower too, unless I’m doing an exfoliation which is about 1x per month. Sorry for TMI.)

My medal looks exactly like yours. I got mine at Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Buffalo NY (Lackawanna NY, to be precise.) Mine is 14K gold, not that it matters as far as sacramentals go, I just knew when I bought it that it would be a permanent piece of jewelry/sacramental.

I wear mine on a gold chain with a set peridot my husband gave me for my birthday and a Blessed Marie Angela Truszkowska medal. (I have her 1st c. relics, too, and often pray to her, as she belongs to same order of nuns as my Catholic school teachers did, the Felicians.) I’ve worn my scapular for the past three or four years as well.

Wear mine everyday, but take off at night as it tends to wrap around my neck too much, but I have another one under my sheets that I sleep on.😃

I used to wear mine with my ring Rosary that can be hung as a liontin around my neck. But now i wear my medal together with my gold crucifix on my neck

My pink coral Rosary has also a miraculous medal on it.

I have one on my reading glasses leash - which means it is with me all day. I also carry Miraculous Medals in my purse to give away or leave as is appropriate. I have made the Consecration to Mary twice now.

I have actually worn a miraculous medal for 45 years. The first medal I wore was given to me by my mother just before I left for boot camp.
I have had a number of medals since but have managed to retain every one of them including that first one.

I wear my Miraculous Medal everyday and so does my two daughters (7 and 4). I have given one to my family and friends as well. Fortunately, I haven’t had the negative attention that you have. You are obviously doing something right and strong in your faith if you feel that Satan is attacking you. Stay strong and faithful and continue to wear the Miraculous Medal. May God bless you and many blessings. 🙂
