Has there been any survey showing how many priest celebrate or prefer the Latin Mass? I love the Latin Mass and really want to see more of it. I don’t mind the new mass. But at times it looks way too Protestant and dull.

Ordinary Form or Extraordinary Form.

If they were Ordained in the last 10 years or so, ALL priests were required to be able to celebrate the Ordinary Form in Latin, and are likewise required to maintain those skills.

As to the Extraordinary Form, that would not be too many.
Speaking more generally, I ask that future priests, from their time in the seminary, receive the preparation needed to understand and to celebrate Mass in Latin, and also to use Latin texts and execute Gregorian chant; nor should we forget that the faithful can be taught to recite the more common prayers in Latin, and also to sing parts of the liturgy to Gregorian chant
  • Sacramentum Caritas.
The output of this was a requirement from the Vatican that seminary instruction include training to say the Ordinary Form in Latin.
