How Many Rosaries Should I Have?

A rosary is a good and beautiful thing but I don’t understand owning a lot of them. I can’t see owning more than three: home, work, and car. If you are going to be a collector of things, it is a good thing to collect. If it gives you pleasure and reminds you of God there is no harm in it, but it still I don’t understand it.

I am a minimalist - one wood rosary. I would like to replace it with a prettier one some day (my last pretty one went to my mom when she became Catholic).
 
I own two wooden rosaries, one black and one brown. I keep one at home, and the other I carry with me. I guess that there is no limit to the number or rosaries one person can have. You never know when you may feel the desire to give one to somebody.
 
I have one in my cupboard downstairs that I use a lot, I have one in my bedroom and now I know why there is a tiny pocket in every pair of jeans as it is perfect to fit a rosary in. I also have one in my bag. I like to know I am always close to one in case I need it. I may have more as my mum tends to send them to me every few years.

I also have one which has a different set of beads just for St. Michael’s chaplet.

I also buy them as souvenirs when I visit pilgrimage sites sometimes. Nothing wrong with having a big collection–they can be wonderful mementos of places you’ve been or people you’ve known.

Ok, now I don’t feel silly for having more than one,lol.👍

I have two…A white crystal beads one that was a gift from my mother(she had our priest bless it) and an olive wood one that is my travel rosary. I also have two St Michael chaplets-one for at home and a travel one.
