How many schisms are there?

I was wondering if anyone knew any information on how many schisms there are being practiced in the USA alone?

I saw this thread, but honestly, I’m not sure. Maybe it’s because I’m from a different country altogether :canada:
 
I guess it depends on what you mean by “schisms.” Like do you mean schisms in Christianity in Canada, like denominations? Or what in particular?
 
Schisms of the Catholic Church. Validly priests, valid Eucharist, don’t agree with all the Church teachings or councils, like the SSPX in America.
 
Hmm…really hard to say. I must admit I’m not entirely sure.
 
Not being from Canada but reading Archbishop Chaput ,Strangers in a Strange Land…you might have just as many if not more than the U S A …quien sabe… 😯
 
Searching for “vagante” in the “East and West” forums on byzcath.org will give you a good start. There’s a couple of folks there that keep track of these.

One schism is too many, we should rather focus on how to bring people together for the common good.
