It’s a great quote properly understood, but taken as an exhaustive anthropological statement it is, from a Christian perspective, defective and possibly semi-gnostic since it seems to imply that the real person is the soul while the body is just something attached.
A Christian anthropology must understand human beings, as created by God, are both soul and body; each part being essential to his or her being.
This is why there will be a resurrection of the body because we are only complete when we are whole, and wholeness, for people, means both soul and body together because that is what God intends for us and He must think very highly of it to have sent His Son to share so completely in it.
