Today we had a shortage of people to help with the Hospitality Ministry at our parish. I assisted at three different masses. I received the Eucharist at two of the masses. Are we permitted to receive the Eucharist at each mass we attend, or should we just limit it to one?

c.917 A person who has received the Most Holy Eucharist may receive it again (iterum) on the same day only during the celebration of the Eucharist in which the person participates, with due regard for the prescription of can. 921, part 2.
So, in other words, up to two times, so long as the second time is during Mass or is viaticum.

Canonically, IIRC, you may receive a second time in one day only during Mass (and a third time only during the Annointing of the Sick, if you’re the sick person).

I should correct to say that viaticum may be taken anytime.

So, even if I participate in three masses, I should only receive the Eucharist in two?
