How much drinking constitutes sin?

I know drunkenness is a serious sin, and when I drink I stop myself before I get that way. However when I do drink, I drink several glasses of wine and get what I call “happy” but not dizzy, and that is when I quit. I know we are supposed to not be attached to any sin be it venial or mortal. My question is: Is what I do a venial sin?
