To go along with the other poll…

Roughly how much is your TV on

oooops forgot the poll

about an hour or two a week, until football season starts… then it’s 3.5 hours on thursday night, and all day saturday!

uuuggghhh… why am i paying a cable bill again?

We turn it on while the kids play. They usually don’t actually sit and watch it though. They really don’t when it’s tuned to EWTN. 🙂

I like to have EWTN on in the background. It’s nice to hear it while I work around the house.

I’m honest, It’s on most of the morning with the today show. Then it goes on again for my one vice. …All my children…yes I admit I’m an addict:bigyikes: . Then it don’t go back on till 5:00 news yes I’m a news addict too. I don’t like most prime time. So we rarely watch TV at night.

I watch CSI and ER on thrusday nights with the rest of my Dorm. But other then that maybe some news when something big is going down…

About an hour and a half a day. I watch the local news at 6:00, followed by the ABC and then CBS network news.

I’m more of a radio person, preferring to listen to NPR, or one of the local AM music stations.

All Tv…all the time! 👍

Mon: Still Standing & Everybody Loves Raymond
Tues: American Idol
Wed: Smallville & American Idol & King of Queens
Thurs: Joey & Will & Grace
Friday: Bernie Mac
Sat: Open
Sun: Extreme Home Makeover & Steve Harveys Big Time

In between those shows, and times, I will check in on:

EWTN
Simpsons
Blue Collar Tv
South Park
American Dad
Comedy Central Stand-Up
Leno
Daily Show
Today Show
Good Morning America

I love it all and dont feel sorry one bit for my tv time! 😃

…not as much as my computer…, now i have to figure which is worse?👍

My mom likes the local news, we all like Jeopardy, and unless there is something really good on (for example, the recent funeral for JP2 and the installation of B16), that’s pretty much it. Can’t watch baseball games with one Yankee fan and one Red Sox fan under the same roof, alas).

However, we are moving later this month to a place that offers EWTN (YAY, YAY, YAY, at last) so I’m pretty sure my mom will have the TV on then–she is looking forward to the daily Mass, the chaplet of Divine Mercy, the Rosary, and whatever else piques her interest–at 75, she’s sharp as a tack! Might even get the H.S. grad interested if they run programs on St. Francis (the kid LOVES animals) and on Moses (her favorite O.T. person).

I just hope I won’t be too exhausted myself to tune in after work!

It is on about one hour a day. Mostly I watch news shows and EWTN. Once in awhile I watch a TV sitcom or a drama. I am fairly picky about what I will watch now.

I don’t watch TV very much, sometimes just a little bit. I love college football, especially if its Michigan. Basketball’s nice too, baseball different story. I get most of my news from other sources. If I have time EWTN.

A couple hours a day since I finally got cable. I like City Confidential, American justice and almost anything on the History channel.

Not on very often - unless I’m folding laundry and then I watch a show that no one else knows I love:

The People’s Court.

Shhh! Don’t tell anyone!

Some days the TV is on a lot, and other days, not at all. Even when it’s on all day, I generally don’t just sit there and watch, but I’m doing something else at the same time.

I like “Arthur”, “Leave it to Beaver”, and “I Love Lucy”, and similar shows, so I watch them on the rare occasions that I’m home the same time they’re on.

I also like some of the home decorating, Food Channel, Animal Planet, and Discovery shows.

Occasionally, I’ll watch figure skating or gymnastics. Or Jack LaLanne.

Other than that, it’s EWTN, at least when we have it (in my cable system, EWTN has to share the channel with the Inspirational network – evangelical stuff, including Benny Hinn). So I rarely get to se the EWTN programs that are only on during prime time, or afternoons and evenings on weekends. 😦

I have no interest in network TV whatsoever.

I leave it on EWTN alot, I rarely sit and watch but I like to listen to it while I do my house work, I like to hear something like this or the radio, I hate when its too quiet, I get the creeps 😃

You sound like me:) that’s the main reason I keep the news on repeating and repeating all morning…It creeps me out to to be alone in a totally quiet house for a few hours while I’m doing housework. They keep me company:D

All the time in my room which is over a kitchen that is constantly in use and always noisy. The tv along with white noise helps to block out the sound.

Ours is on pretty much all the time. If we’re not watching one of our normal shows or a dvd, it’s on the Food Channel or ESPN as background noise while we are on the computer or cooking.

Usually only in the evening. I tend to listen to the radio or CD’s in the morning and afternoon. (well, except for Guiding Light at 3:00…:o ) and then at night I just flip around to whatever’s on, either EWTN, Comedy Central, a movie channel, or lately I seem to have a thing for watching MASH re-runs at night too. (even though I’ve seen them all like bunches of times. Still like it.) The only show I watch regularly is the Amazing Race on Tuesday nights. My favorite 😃 !
