It depends on the day. I could be in any one of the categories from 5 minutes on up, because I don’t think I could go a whole day without bugging the Lord about something.

I am happier when I can pray more, like today I was able to devote several hours to it, but if I am swamped with work, rushing around taking care of stuff that needs done at home, short on sleep, or traveling other than by driving a long way (I use prayers to fill in drive time), sometimes I just do not seem to have the energy or concentration for it.

Takes me about 45 minutes to get through the rosary, the maybe snother decade before sleep. My gaurdian angel usually finishes off that one for me…thanks GA!

About fifteen minutes of planned prayer every day. That’s how long it takes me to get through the rosary. Then I constantly have to apologize for something I did, or beg God to forgive someone for something they said or did.

as roseanne roseanna danna used to say before SNL became a political pit… Never mind!

I didn’t hit the keys right!

All day. I speak with God constantly, no matter what I do.

I don’t really pray in the morning because I’d just fall asleep again. I pray the rosary daily for the most part. I pray the same prayers every night. These days I read the Bible way more than I pray. For me, it’s just easier and more productive. However, I have found myself thanking God for one thing, then going on a tangent of thanking Him for many things and meditating on Him and His creation.

I’m not sure how long I pray so I picked less than thirty and thirty to an hour.

I do the same thing that you do. I converse with God throughout the day.

I don’t really pay attention to the amount of time that I spend on any particular prayer time. I may pray written prayers or devotions, or I may pray heart-felt spontaneous prayers, too.

I think people spend more time in prayer then they realize. Of course this is not only one or two sittings, but little conversations with God through the day.

I spent most of my day in prayer. The Divine Office is a treasure well worth exploring.

I talk to God quite a lot through the day for one reason or another. Could be requests, or thanks or just about what is troubling me. The day is bookended with a prayer in the morning and before bed.

I also pray five decades of the rosary, typically in about 25 minutes, and the Divine mercy at 3pm, which I pray along with EWTN telly which means it takes a bit longer than the ten minutes it takes if I am out walking.

That is my current practice because life is so busy, but in the past I have used the Coptic Agpeya, which has prayers for all hours and is quite comprehensive. The unexpected benefit of being unwell was plenty of time to pray!!
