How often do observant Mormons eat meat?

I am wondering how often an observant Mormon eats meat. I remember reading somewhere that Mormons are encouraged to eat meat “sparingly”, but how often is “sparingly”? And do Mormons abstain from meat on specific days of the week, like Catholics and Orthodox do?

Despite what the Doctrine & Covenants says regarding the eating of meat, modern LDS eat as much meat as everyone else. There are no days where LDS abstain from meat.
