How often do you pray the Divine Mercy chaplet?

There’s an Amazon skill called Catholic Daily which you can enable for your Echo. It reads the daily readings and says the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet. I’ve been using it to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet at night.

No set of decades is for any particular intention. It is entirely up to the person praying the rosary. Sometimes there is not even the need for an intention - praying the rosary as an act of prayer and praise is enough in itself.

Me too. It has become part of my routine. If I didn’t pray it I felt something is missing. I am not sure about you but I don’t really have a personal intention for praying it but simply to carry on what St Faustina had been doing.

I like the reminder that we are - all of us - in need of mercy. Sometimes it’s easy to think, look at what I’ve done, I’m so spiritual.

Yes I’d also feel something were missing if I didnt pray it. Well I didnt used to have any personal intentions, I just leave them up to God unless some one I knew died them I’d usually prayer it for them as well. But then I went to confession once and the priest suggested I pray if for the people I felt I’d wronged or who had annoyed me, to offer it up for them. So now I do that generally, as there is always someone who I feel I have been a bit grumpy with either in action or thought. I clarify, the priest gave it to me as a penance (once off) it’s me who has decided to use it regularly to for my grumpy thoughts.

I also like to think of carrying on what Faustina was doing cos Jesus’ mercy is just tooo amazing for words but we do have to try spread news of it this way and with words 😉
