How often do you pray the rosary? And how often “should” we pray it?

This question may have been asked a lot before, so apologies if it has. I am new to this forum and am starting out on what I hope to be a huge faith journey. I have lots of niggling questions.

The common way is to pray one set of mysteries a day, and this is stated specifically in the apparitions at Fatima. On average it takes about 20 minutes.

Glorious Mysteries = Sunday and Wednesday
Joyful = Monday, Thursday, Saturday
Sorrowful = Tuesday and Friday

If you want to pray the Luminous (Pope John Paul II) then those are said on Thursday – they are considered optional and not in the traditional psalter, though.

Sundays of Advent and Christmas = Joyful
Sundays of Lent = Sorrowful

Some will pray the entire psalter (all 3 of the traditional, or all 4 total) but I suffered spiritual burnout from trying it myself and had to learn not to overestimate myself. 😨

I pray the rosary 2-10 per week and i usually in the form of listening and praying along with a scriptural rosary.

There is no “should” with the rosary.

Almost always once, usually twice daily. Some Chaplets of Divine Mercy sprinkled in between for good measure.

So many intentions…

…so little time.
 
I pray 5 mysteries daily: I’m quite devoted to the Rosary. It is a strong connection to Our Lady and through her draws one close to Jesus.
