Are you serious? Are you Anglican? Why donāt they have tabernacles? In 7 of the 8 parishes in my city, itās a miracle if one can even find the Tabernacle.
Iām a Catholic. After they took the high altars out & substituted them with tables, there was no room for the Tabernacles. Actually there was, they could have been placed on the side altars. Since the statues of St Joseph & the Blessed Mother were also removed, the Tabernacles could have been left on the pedestals that once held them. They werenāt. I do so on an average of twice a weekTimes as of late in my parish have shown to me that less and less people kneel before our tabernacles. Now I am not here to complain but to simply ask whether you yourself have done this recently? Have you, or do you kneel and adore?
Yes, youāre fortunate. Since Iām very fortunate, alsoā¦I can sign up for times in my own parish, or just stop by for a visit. However, I thank God for the adoration chapel (it used to be a Protestant ChurchHere in Phoenix, Iām fortunate to have two parishes on my drive to and from work that have perpetual adoration. Iāve made a commitment this Lenten season to spend 3 hours a week with the Blessed Sacrament.
