How often is incense used at your parish?

For the most part in my parish Gothic design parishioners in wheelchairs also sit it front.
But I do understand what you mean. There are types of incenses at Catholic religious stores that are less offensive on parishioners. There called smokeless type. They do give off smoke, however; the smoke dissipates much faster and with lesser smell. Bottom line though its the priest preference.
 
Not really a parish but the conventual Mass of a Benedictine abbey. Every Sunday, feast and solemnity. And at Lauds and Vespers too at the gospel canticle.

I’ve been to St-Benoît-du-Lac off Memphrémagog numerous times. Beautiful Benedictine Abby. My belated father was from Magog, QC.

Sitting at the back wouldn’t work at my church. As they make their entrance (Father, altar servers), the censor is smoking, not a great amount, but enough that the scent perfumes the whole church. We’re a medium-sized church----enough to seat 300 for any one Mass.

My mom and sister have allergies and asthma. I’m completely sympathetic to the problem.

Only time it’s used at my parish is during the exosition of the Blessed Sacrament and I think at funerals. Other than that The priest lets the censer collect dust in his oratory.

My parish also observes sung/solemn Vespers with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament every Sunday afternoon during the academic year.

At my local RC parish (and neighboring ones), rarely ever on Sundays, except on Christmas (maybe) and Easter. Mostly at funerals.

At my local Eastern Catholic Church (UGCC), all the time and in copious amounts!
 
We use it once a month at all Masses, plus funerals and solemnities.
 
Never, and I’m relieved. I’m one of the allergic folks, and in my old parish, the priest was an incense junkie! I’ve lost more contact lenses from my eyes watering up than I care to think about. Achoo!
 
For Solemn and High Masses in the ExtraOrdinary Form, I’ve noticed it. I seldom notice it at the Ordinary Form unless its a special occasion.
