How old were you when you got married?

I was 25 and she had just turned 23.

We had our first child, who is 5 now, when she was 30… as we were Protestants at the time we used ABC… specifically Ortho-Trycycline.

If you have to go on ABC for medical reasons, do not use this one. I’m certian it’s aborficent properties are one reason it took us almost 4 years to get pregnant after she quit taking it.

My parents married at D-25; M-30 so all of her pregnacies were after 30 with 4 of them after 40…me as the youngest of 8 was born when mom was 48. As far as I know there were no complications and the only extended hospital stay was with me…but that was because of being snowed in at the hospital for a week.
 
I had DS #1 when I was 18. Didn’t marry the father because I knew he wasn’t the one. Got married to DH when I was 20 he was 18 (cradle robber!!! :eek:…LOL) had DS#2 when I was 21, DD#1 when I was 22. Then we thought we were done. We emptied the nest, essentially (DD was in college) when we found out I was expecting DD#2! I was 42 when she was born. So we have a 20 year difference between our 3rd and 4th child, but we are truly blest. She is a joy and I always knew there was a child, and specifically a girl missing in the lineup.
