Yes it is. Especially from the Copts. Many Christians distrust the Copts due to their beliefs. But thinking straight, let us admit that in the Middle East, the ancestors of the people actually met Jesus Christ, the Apostles and Virgin Mary. Of course memory fades and myths have their power, but still… it’s hard to just ignore what is oral tradition there.
I’m fine with it myself. Venerable Mary of Agreda also wrote a lot about Mary’s life as revealed to her. I’m fine with all that too.
