Can this be studied philosophically? Can this be understood spiritually?
Excellent questions, my friend! Please consider the following:
To recognize the reality of spirituality, consider the following:
A spirit is image, knowledge, past-actions. Some examples: As you look at a photograph of a person, your mind is thinking about the exact image of the person in a certain time in the past. As you read this post, you are thinking about the exact knowledge of my mind in a certain time in the past. Therefore, you are interacting with another person’s spirit.
To recognize the reality of the soul, consider the following:
Since a spirit exists by a person thinking of an individual, consider the following to develop an understanding of the soul: When any human thinks of another person, it is impossible to give the person free-will. However, when God, the Father, thinks of another person, He is able to give the person free-will. Therefore, the person, in the thoughts of God, the Father, exists as a free-willed soul.
To hint at the reality of the Law of Love, consider the following:
-Patience gets peace: The instance one is impatient in any form, there is a disturbance. Since peace is freedom from disturbance, impatience loses peace.
-Kindness gets happiness: When living, one is forced by natural law to seek to fulfill various wants/desires. Fulfilling a want/desire achieves contentment to intense joy. Any act which attempts to fulfill a want/desire is an act of kindness. Therefore, kindness is required to experience any degree of happiness, where happiness is contentment to intense joy.
-Patience and kindness require Motivation to Will: Motivation requires a source of motivation. The greatest source of motivation is God because He is eternal therefore inexhaustible, immaterial therefore omnipresent, loving and personal therefore meaningful, and hopeful to the point of death.
-In order for one to be completely free from disturbance, one must choose to be patient and kind with the body, thoughts, and will.
-In order for one to have all relationships and the self experiencing happiness without losing peace, one must choose to be perfectly patient, kind, and motivated with the body, spirit, thoughts, and will equally towards others and the self. For if one is overly kind towards others or the self, one will lose peace and happiness in either, respectively, the self or relationships.
-In order for two or more to experience a limitless happiness without any loss of peace…ever, all must freely choose to be and spread the means to freely choose to be perfectly patient, kind, and motivated with all the body, spirit, thoughts, and will equally towards others and the self. And this is the reality of Heaven, which was declared by Jesus Christ in His Greatest Commandments.
