I suppose I should have slipped a “generally” in there somewhere. Some of the daily Masses at my old high school were even shorter than that, nearing the fifteen minute mark. At any rate, it’s still only an hour, so if Mass begins at 8am, just make sure you’ve had breakfast by 7am.I’ve been to daily and early morning Sunday Masses that clockd in between 25-45 minutes depending on the number of people and who th celebrant is so an hour isn’t a hard and fast rule for daily Masses.
And if you’re going to daily Masses, it won’t hurt to skip Communion one day if you do happen to eat within the hour. You can always continue receiving the next day.
