How should a visitor respond to liturgical abuses?

Recently I visited a parish in another city and I witnessed such a blatant error in the liturgy, I want to do the right thing but I don’t quite know what that is. The priest celebrated Mass without a deacon, but at the Offertory a group of laypeople accompanied the priest from the altar to receive the gifts from the gift bearers. Then they proceeded to accompany the presider to the altar and set the table and poured the wine. Then, after Communion, the priest sat down right away and the lay EMHCs cleared away the vessels, placing them on a table behind the altar. I really wasn’t paying close attention to that part since I was praying. What should I as a layperson do in this situation?

Offer it up. Unless the abuse was so grave that it compromised the validity of the Eucharist, a visitor to a parish is unlikely to have the “standing” he needs to effect change in the parish. If the abuse is sufficiently grave to potentially invalidate the Eucharist, then he can write to the bishop of the diocese in which the parish is located, providing a succinct account of what he witnessed so that the bishop may follow up on the report.
