How should I feel about the SSPX?

I am aware of what they are and their status. My question is how should I personally feel about them? Should I feel that they are commendable in that they uphold the ancient traditions of the church, or should I feel that they have crossed a line and want nothing to do with them? I am not thinking of joining them or even investigating them further. But, I hear many Catholics talking about them, some positive and some negative, and I just don’t know how to feel. Thank you in advance.
