How should I pursue this girl?

That is true, unless the line is, “I have four kids with four different women” or “the cops are after me, we have to leave”. :dts:
I heard somewhere a while ago that some magazine did a survey on women, and it turned out that most women are attracted to a “dangerous” man. Not sure if those pickup lines fall under that purview.

I think it was Leno or something, and he joked that those women will likely end up on “Cops.”

I didn’t need a survey to know that. I’m sorry if this sounds harsh, I probably could say something equally nice about men, too, basically this is the obvious impression from looking around and noticing things in life.

Just ask her out. Maybe lunch…its not to datish, but not so indifferent either. From there you can talk about whats going on in the world…you know news and stuff. Maybe mention a movie you may want to see like “HAVE YOU SEEN THE PREVIEWS FOR THIS MOVIE?” talk about it and say “Oh I want to see it so bad” and then ask “would you like to go see it with me?” Dont be afraid. The worst thing that could happen…is her saying no. I heard Bonnie Hunt say that her mom used to tell her “A rejection is GODs way of protecting you” I like it…could be true.

I agree. One of the reason i feel in love with my Fiance is because he is direct. I knew his intentions. I didn’t have to sit and wonder what he was doing. If you give women enough time to over think then we will think ourselves right out of the relationship
As someone who has been “friend-zoned” more times than he can count, I can attest to this being truth.

I met my husband on CatholicMatch, so I’m hopeful for you! (Granted I also met a lot of eh, interesting guys there too…lol).

I think I was chatting on IM with future-hubs about comedy shows, and I mentioned to him that we should go see a show some time. That was his clue to ask me for my number and ask me out. He invited me to a young-adult thing at his parish.

I agree with PP that said that being direct (no games!) is highly attractive. Just go for it!

I have her number and have called several times but haven’t yet tried asking her out, since we’ve had trouble trying to get in touch offline. Should I just try Facebooking it?

More like booking it face to face. 😉

But what do I know… I’m old fashioned. I’m the type of person who wouldn’t even want to know if my child was a boy or girl until it was born.
